A3200 디지털자동화 플랫폼은 이전의 PC-bus 기반의 모션컨트롤러들을 혁신적으로 진보시킨 것입니다. A3200은 소프트웨어기반(PC슬롯 불필요)이며 강하고 고성능 모션 엔진으로 비전,PLC,로보틱스, 한개의 통일된 프로그래밍환경에서의 I/O에 잘 적용됩니다.
다양한 일반적인 자동화 툴들을 하나의 플랫폼으로 결합함으로써, 사용자들이 이전보다 낮은 가격으로 보다 시스템을 잘 통합하고 개발하고 빠르게 유지할 수 있도록 합니다.

A3200은 하나의 인터페이스로 32축의 동기 모션이 가능합니다. 에어로텍은 62축의 동기모션제어까지 확장할 수 있도록 현재의 플랫폼을 디자인했습니다.

A3200은 오늘날의 다축 컨트롤러의 주요 단점을 지적합니다. 즉 축이 추가되면 서보 업데이트시간 또는 프로그램 수행 시간이 증가됨으로 인해 성능은 현저히 떨어지게 된다는 것입니다. A3200은 광범위한 제어 구조를 활용하여 축수에 관계없이 성능을 유지시킬 수 있습니다. 이것은 오늘날의 일반적인 개별 프로세서컨트롤 구조에 의해 발생되는 처리 병목현상을 제거함으로써 가능합니다. 위치, 속도, 전류루프결합들은 에어로텍의 우수한 네트워크 드라이브에 의해 처리됩니다. 궤도발생은 PC상에서 이루어지며 이는 Windows보다 더 상위의 순위로 처리하는 실시간 운용시스템을 활용한다. PC는 프로그램을 수행하고 위치 명령을 IEEE-1394 (FireWire) 고속 시리얼 버스를 통해 Ndrive로 보낸다.

엔코더 와 I/O를 포함한 모든 외부 신호들은 PC와 드라이브사이에서 사용될 수 있도록 드라이브와 한 개의 케이블에라도 직접 보내집니다. 드라이브들은 하나의 케이블로 함께 연결되어있습니다.

A3200을 디자인함에 있어서, 에어로텍은 당사의 다음 세대의 컨트롤러는 기존의 ±10 V 네트워크 인터페이스의 단점을 극복하도록 결정하였습니다. 여전히 많은 Application에서 사용 가능한 ±10 V는 단점들을 가지고 있습니다. 특히 복잡한 모션 컨트롤에 적용될 때 그러하며 이것은 많은 에어로텍의 Application에서도 일반적입니다. 예를 들면 아날로그 신호에 더해진 노이즈는 서보루프를 불안정하게 할 수 있으며 이는 높은 시스템 대역을 막게 됩니다. 또한 ±10 V 명령에 대해 컨트롤러는 얼마나 잘 전류루프가 트랙킹하고 있는지를 잘 알 수가 없습니다. 이러한 다양한 단점들 때문에 차세대 컨트롤러에는 고속 시리얼 인터페이스를 사용하는 것이 결정되었습니다.

이더넷과 RS-232와 같은 디지털 네트워크들은 많은 다른 산업에서 폭넓게 사용되고 있습니다. FireWire (IEEE-1394)와 USB 같은 다른 새로운 네트워크들은 점점 더 인기를 얻고 있습니다. 예를 들면, 거의 모든 새로운 컴퓨터들은 현재 이러한 인터페이스들을 기본으로 갖고 있습니다.

일반적인 시스템 추천 사항

1)윈도우 오디오는 시간 지연 에러를 야기할 수 있습니다. 잠재적인 문제를 피하기 위해 제어판 사운드에서 No 사운드로 설정합니다.
2)A3200과 함께 Dell OMCI(Open Manage Client Instrumentation)소프트 웨어 사용을 금지합니다. 제어판의 프로그램 추가/제거를 이용하여 모든 OMCI 소프트 웨어 제거합니다.
3)A3200은 적당한 동작을 위해 PCI 버스로 규치적인 접근이 필요합니다. Frame Grabbers는 많은 량의 PCI 버스 대역폭을 사용할 수 있고, 컴뮤니케이션 에러 또는 모션 정지(Dropout)를 일으킬 수 있습니다.
이러한 경우에는 듀얼 PC (Client/Server) 설정을 사용합니다.
4)소프트에어 설치 후 RTXDiag.exe를 실행하여 PC상의 RTX real-time 환경의 성능을 측정합니다.
5)에어로텍은 HP 또는 Compaq 컴퓨터는 잠재적인 RTX 문제 때문에 추천하지 않습니다.
